Here’s why

• All instructors are CPR and First Aid Certified. In addition to these certifications, several of our staff are also lifeguard certified as well.
• Four of our lead instructors work in the Texas public school system. They have years of experience teaching and coaching large groups of kids.
• Our surf and beach curriculum helps build confidence and boost self esteem in kids in a fun and safe atmosphere
• All of our instructors are active surfers with a high level of knowledge about the ocean environment and they pass this along to the students.
• We are supported by Billabong, the largest surf company in the world.
• Kids are never allowed in the water by themselves. All kids are in the same color rash guards to make them easily identifiable. No camper is allowed to go to the public restrooms or shower without supervision.
• Fun learning environment. Our ratio of 4 kids to each instructor allows us to coach the students as individuals. They learn at their own pace so that they get maximum enjoyment from learning to surf. They don’t get frustrated or bored.
